Mark Gilbert, promoter and driver, passes away

It is with great sadness that I share the passing of monster truck promoter and speedway legend Mark Gilbert.

Mark was known for promoting the annual Monster Truck Rumble show every year at the Adelaide Showgrounds. It was one of the most anticipating events on our websites calendar.

He also owned Monster Patrol and Buster The Ride. The former he drove to some awesome spectacular moments over the years at the Monster Truck Rumble.

Unfortunately I’ve never met him so I can’t say anything personal about him. He was well-liked by the many who worked alongside him.
